Morning Prayer for September 16
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
The LORD pondereth the hearts.
Today’s takeaway: God searches your heart and knows your needs, so let His love drive out fear.
The LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
The LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy
Thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear
Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path.
He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
The foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
Prayer
LORD, You weigh the hearts. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me. All my desire is before You, and my groaning is not hidden. When my spirit is overwhelmed, You know my path. There is no fear in love. You know those who are Yours, and You see in secret. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
