Morning Prayer for September 12
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
I have seen his ways, and will heal him
Today’s takeaway: God sees every hidden sin, yet He is the LORD who heals, so bring them to Him.
I am the LORD that healeth thee.
O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.
All things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
He is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted
Thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
Prayer
LORD, You are the LORD who heals me. You have seen my ways, and still You say You will heal me. You have searched me and known me. My secret sins are in the light of Your face, and all things are naked before Your eyes. Yet You invite me to reason with You. Jesus was wounded for my transgressions, and by His stripes I am healed. Bind up my heart today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
