Morning Prayer for October 17
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
Today’s takeaway: Your righteousness is in the LORD, so rejoice in Him all day.
In the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
The righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe
To declare … at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory
Prayer
LORD, in Your name I will rejoice all day, and in Your righteousness I will be lifted up. In You I have righteousness and strength. Your righteousness has been revealed apart from the law, through faith in Jesus Christ, so that You are just and the One who justifies. I will be glad in You and rejoice. I have not seen Jesus, yet I love Him. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
