Morning Prayer for November 26
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
The LORD delighteth in thee
Today’s takeaway: The LORD delights in you, and He has written your name on His hands.
Thus saith the LORD that created thee, … Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of … hands; thy walls are continually before me.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
My delights were with the sons of men.
The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
They shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
You, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight
Prayer
LORD, You delight in me. You created me, redeemed me, and called me by name. A mother may forget her nursing child, but You will not forget me; I am engraved on Your hands. You delight in the way of the righteous. You take pleasure in those who fear You and hope in Your mercy. You have reconciled me, to present me holy in Your sight. Let me live today as Your delight. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
