Morning Prayer for November 21
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Today’s takeaway: No one who comes to Jesus is turned away, however great their sin.
It shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.
I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench
Prayer
Lord Jesus, whoever comes to You, You will never cast out. The thief on the cross came with nothing, and You promised him paradise. I come to You this morning with nothing to offer but my need. Though my sins are like scarlet, You make them white. Let me walk through today accepted. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
