Morning Prayer for November 16
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Today’s takeaway: God's truth makes you clean and free, so keep His Word close today.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee
My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Prayer
Father, sanctify me through Your truth; Your word is truth. Jesus said His disciples were clean through the word He had spoken to them. How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed to Your word. Let wisdom enter my heart and knowledge be pleasant to my soul. I value Your words more than my necessary food. Let me continue in Your word today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
