Morning Prayer for May 13

About 2–3 minutes · 8 Scripture passages (KJV)

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

God’s Word

Every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

Today’s takeaway: Pray with a forgiving heart and real faith, because God hears those who seek Him.

The true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am.

When ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any

Without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins

Prayer

Father, You seek people who will worship You in spirit and in truth. I want to be one of them today. I come believing that You are, and that You reward those who seek You. If I am holding on to sin in my heart, show me, so nothing stands between us. If I have anything against anyone, help me forgive. Then I will call, and You will answer, Here I am. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Pray as Jesus taught us

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Amen.

Blessing

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
