Morning Prayer for March 23
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Today’s takeaway: God is holy, and He calls you to be holy because you belong to Him.
Thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. … I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God … Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour
I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
As he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Prayer
Holy God, You are holy, holy, holy, the Lord God Almighty, and You live among the praises of Your people. Like Moses at the burning bush, I come quietly this morning, on holy ground. There is no one like You, and there is no Savior besides You. You have made my body a temple of the Holy Spirit. Make me holy in all my conduct today, so that we can walk together. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
