Morning Prayer for March 21

About 2–3 minutes · 8 Scripture passages (KJV)

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

God’s Word

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die

Today’s takeaway: Stay alert and watchful today, and hold on to God, who holds your hand.

The end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour

Take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life

The just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

What I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You said to all of us, Watch. Wake me up this morning. Strengthen whatever in me is ready to die. The end of all things is near, so keep me sober and praying. My adversary prowls like a roaring lion; keep me alert. Do not let me forget what I have seen You do, or draw back. And when I am afraid, hold my right hand and help me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Pray as Jesus taught us

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Amen.

Blessing

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
