Morning Prayer for March 19
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
Today’s takeaway: God raised Jesus to bless you by turning you from sin and filling you with His fullness.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
Saved by his life.
Our Saviour Jesus Christ; … Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
As he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, … hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
In him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him
Of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Prayer
Father, You raised up Your Son Jesus and sent Him to bless me by turning me away from my sins. That is the blessing I need most. You have given me a living hope through His resurrection. He gave Himself to redeem me from all iniquity, and I am complete in Him. Since You did not spare Your own Son, I trust You to give me all I need to be holy today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
