Evening Prayer for March 19
Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
God’s Word
Strengthen thou me according unto thy word.
Today’s takeaway: When you feel weak, rest on God's Word, because not one of His promises has failed.
Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
Fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
Be strong, … and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts
Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Prayer
O LORD, strengthen me according to Your word. Remember the promise You caused me to hope in. Heaven and earth will pass away, but Your words will not. Joshua could say that not one good thing You promised had failed. It is not by might or by power but by Your Spirit. Tonight I rest, and tomorrow I will be strong in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
