Morning Prayer for March 10
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh
Today’s takeaway: The LORD will provide, just as He did for Abraham, so trust Him with today's needs.
God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering
Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear
There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob
Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God
Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death
My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Prayer
Father, on the mountain Abraham learned that You provide, and at Calvary You provided the Lamb Yourself. Your hand is not too short to save, and Your ear is not too dull to hear. I bring You today's needs, large and small, and You have promised to supply them all from Your riches in Christ Jesus. You will never leave me or forsake me. My heart trusts You, and I am helped. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
