Evening Prayer for March 10
Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
God’s Word
He feedeth among the lilies.
Today’s takeaway: Jesus loves to be with His people and delights in the fruit His Spirit grows in them.
Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.
I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, You come into Your garden looking for fruit. Tonight I invite You into every part of my life. Let love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control grow in me. Where You need to prune, do it gently, so I can bear more fruit. You promised to make Your home with those who love You. Make Yourself at home in me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
