Morning Prayer for June 28
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
I know that my redeemer liveth
Today’s takeaway: Your Redeemer lives, and because He lives, He can save you completely.
If, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
This man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Because I live, ye shall live also.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
The Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
We have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace
Ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot
Prayer
Faithful God, I know that my Redeemer lives. I was not redeemed with silver or gold but with the precious blood of Christ. If I was reconciled by His death, how much more will I be saved by His life. He continues forever, and He is able to save completely. Because He lives, I will live too. Christ is risen, the firstfruits of those who sleep. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
