Morning Prayer for June 24
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
The ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them … to search out a resting place for them.
Today’s takeaway: Commit your way to the LORD, and trust Him to lead you step by step.
My times are in thy hand
He shall choose our inheritance for us
Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness … make thy way straight before my face.
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Prayer
LORD, the ark went ahead of Israel to search out a place for them to rest. Go ahead of me today. My times are in Your hand, and You choose my inheritance for me. I commit my way to You and trust You to bring it to pass. Lead me in Your righteousness and make Your way straight before me. You know what I need, and You care for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
