Morning Prayer for June 17
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
In every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Today’s takeaway: Bring everything to God in prayer with thanks, because He hears your voice.
I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
When ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
The Spirit … helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints
If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Prayer
Father, I love You because You have heard my voice. You have bent Your ear to me, so I will call on You as long as I live. Keep my prayers honest and not a string of empty words. When I do not know what to pray for, Your Spirit helps me. Today I bring You everything with thanksgiving, and I will pray with others who agree with me in faith. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
