Morning Prayer for July 5
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
We have known and believed the love that God hath to us.
Today’s takeaway: Know and believe how much God loves you, shown most clearly in the gift of His Son.
God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
We love him, because he first loved us.
Blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
Prayer
O God, I have known and believed the love You have for me. You so loved the world that You gave Your only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. You are rich in mercy. Since You did not spare Your own Son, how will You not freely give me all things? I love You because You loved me first. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
