Morning Prayer for July 25
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
We know that we have passed from death unto life
Today’s takeaway: If you trust Jesus, you have already passed from death into life.
He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
We know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
You hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son
Prayer
Father, I know that I have passed from death to life. Jesus said that whoever hears His word and believes You has everlasting life and will not come into condemnation. I have the Son, so I have life. You have sealed me with Your Spirit. You have delivered me from the power of darkness and brought me into the kingdom of Your dear Son. Let me live today in that assurance. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
