Morning Prayer for July 13

About 2–3 minutes · 10 Scripture passages (KJV)

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

God’s Word

I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.

Today’s takeaway: You belong to Jesus, and nothing can separate you from His love.

I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost

The LORD taketh pleasure in his people

My delights were with the sons of men.

His great love wherewith he loved us

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

Prayer

Lord, I am Yours, and Your desire is toward me. It is hard to believe that You take pleasure in Your people and that Your delights are with the sons of men. But You showed it: You laid down Your life for Your friends. I am persuaded that nothing can separate me from Your love. Whether I live or die, I belong to You. Let me glorify You in my body today. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Pray as Jesus taught us

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Amen.

Blessing

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
