Morning Prayer for July 12
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
Today’s takeaway: The LORD goes before you and will not fail you, so step forward without fear.
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
The LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Our sufficiency is of God
Lead us not into temptation
O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
My times are in thy hand
Prayer
LORD, Your presence will go with me today, and You will give me rest. You go before me; You will not fail me or forsake me. So I will be strong and of good courage. My sufficiency is from You. I cannot direct my own steps, so I acknowledge You in all my ways. Lead me not into temptation. My times are in Your hand. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
