Morning Prayer for October 6
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
The Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
Today’s takeaway: Nothing is impossible for God, so bring Him your hardest need today.
I know that thou canst do every thing
The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
He doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?
There is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee
Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean.
The mighty God
All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed … there be more with us than with him
Prayer
Lord God omnipotent, You reign. Nothing is impossible with You, and no purpose of Yours can be stopped. I often live as if my problems are bigger than You. This morning I remember that all power in heaven and earth belongs to Jesus. Some trust in chariots, but I will trust in Your name today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
