Morning Prayer for November 7
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
Today’s takeaway: Praise God for His goodness, because He made you to show forth His praise.
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
How great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee
This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
How great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty!
The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
Prayer
LORD, oh that people would praise You for Your goodness and Your wonderful works. I have tasted, and You are good. How great is the goodness You have laid up for those who fear You. You formed me for Yourself to show forth Your praise. You adopted me to the praise of Your glorious grace. How great is Your goodness and Your beauty. I praise You this morning. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
