Morning Prayer for May 29
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
The life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Today’s takeaway: Jesus' blood is the only price that could pay for sin, and it cleanses you completely.
Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
The blood of the Lamb.
The precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot
Without shedding of blood is no remission.
The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
By his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith
Ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Prayer
Father, the life is in the blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. That is why the precious blood of Christ matters so much to me. His blood cleanses me from all sin. By His own blood He entered the holy place once for all. So I draw near this morning with a true heart and full assurance of faith. I was bought with a price; I am Yours. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
