Morning Prayer for March 29

About 2–3 minutes · 9 Scripture passages (KJV)

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

God’s Word

Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world

Today’s takeaway: The Father is pleased to give you His kingdom, so do not be afraid.

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

Heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

The Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me

God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

There is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ

Prayer

Father, it is Your good pleasure to give Your little flock the kingdom. You have chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of that kingdom. I am a joint heir with Christ. You are not ashamed to be called my God, and You have prepared a city for me. The good work You began in me, You will finish. Let me live today like someone with an inheritance waiting. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Pray as Jesus taught us

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Amen.

Blessing

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
