Morning Prayer for June 27

About 2–3 minutes · 7 Scripture passages (KJV)

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

God’s Word

Who shall be able to stand?

Today’s takeaway: Those washed clean by Jesus will stand before God's throne without fear.

Who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’

I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands

These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free

Prayer

Lord God, who can stand in the day of Your coming? Not me in my own strength. But I have seen the great multitude from every nation who washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. They will hunger and thirst no more. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. So I stand fast today in the freedom He has given. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Pray as Jesus taught us

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Amen.

Blessing

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
