Morning Prayer for January 10
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Today’s takeaway: God is at work to make you whole and blameless, and He is faithful to finish it.
Loved the church, and gave himself for it; That … might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus
The peace of God, … passeth all understanding
Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body
Our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer
God of peace, sanctify me wholly today, spirit, soul, and body. Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it, to present it without spot. Let Your peace rule in my heart, and guard my mind when anxious thoughts come. You will confirm me to the end. Keep me blameless in the small choices of this ordinary day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
