Morning Prayer for February 12
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
They shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels
Today’s takeaway: You are precious to God, like a jewel He will one day gather to Himself.
I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
I will come again, and receive you unto myself
He shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe … in that day.
We which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
Prayer
LORD of hosts, You call Your people Your jewels, Your treasure. Some days I feel overlooked, by others and even by myself. This morning let me believe what You say about me. Jesus prayed for me and wants me with Him. Let me live today as someone treasured, and treat the people around me the same way. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
