Morning Prayer for February 11

About 2–3 minutes · 8 Scripture passages (KJV)

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

God’s Word

They that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

Today’s takeaway: God listens when believers encourage one another, so let your words build others up today.

It came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.

Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

My fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Behold, it is written before me

Prayer

LORD, those who feared You talked together about You, and You listened and wrote their names in a book. Let my conversations today be like that. Give me one moment to speak about You naturally with a friend or family member. Let Your word dwell in me richly so it flows into what I say. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Pray as Jesus taught us

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Amen.

Blessing

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
