Morning Prayer for December 3
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause
Today’s takeaway: Bring your troubles to God as Hezekiah spread out his letter, because He hears before you ask.
Is any thing too hard for the LORD?
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. And Hezekiah prayed unto the LORD
It shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
Prayer
LORD, like Job I will seek You and commit my cause to You. Is anything too hard for You? I commit my way to You and trust You to bring it to pass. Hezekiah spread his troubling letter out before You, and I spread out my worries before You this morning. You promise to answer even before I call. I cast my care on You, for You care for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
