Morning Prayer for April 26
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.
Today’s takeaway: God's arms are underneath you, so when you start to sink, call on Jesus.
Underneath are the everlasting arms
When he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the LORD shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
He that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
They shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all
Prayer
Good Shepherd, underneath me are the everlasting arms. When Peter began to sink, he cried out for You to save him, and You reached out Your hand right away. Order my steps today, and if I fall, do not let me stay down. I cast all my cares on You, because You care for me. I am the apple of Your eye, and no one can pluck me out of Your hand. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
