Thanksgiving Day · morning
Come with Thanksgiving
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
Today’s takeaway: Come before God today with thanksgiving and joyful praise for all His goodness.
Prayer
LORD, on this Thanksgiving Day, I come into Your presence with thanks and a joyful noise. Thank You for food on the table, family and friends, a roof over my head, and freedom to worship. Most of all, thank You for Jesus. Let our gathering today be full of real gratitude, not just a big meal. Remember those who are alone or hungry today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
