Jesus Cared for His Mother
Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
God’s Word
When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
Today’s takeaway: Even on the cross Jesus made sure His mother was cared for, and He sees every family's needs.

Who has cared for you like a mother, and have you thanked them?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, even while dying on the cross, You made sure Your mother would be cared for. You honor mothers, and You see every tender and painful thing this day brings. Hold those who are grieving tonight. Bless the mothers I love, and let them rest well. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
