Prayer
Heavenly Father, today I thank You for fathers, and for the men who have been fathers to me in faith. Give dads integrity, patience, and tenderness. Strengthen those who are trying hard and feel they are failing. Comfort those who have lost their fathers, those who never knew one, and those whose fathers hurt them. You are the perfect Father. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
