Morning Prayer for March 26
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God’s Word
The kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. … to every man according to his several ability
Today’s takeaway: God has given you gifts to use for others, so be faithful with what He entrusted to you.
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey
All these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
The manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
It is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
Unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Who is sufficient for these things?
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Prayer
Father, everything I have is on loan from You: my time, my abilities, my money, and the gifts of Your Spirit. You gave them so that others would profit. Make me a faithful steward today. Much has been given to me, so much is required, and I feel it. Who is sufficient for these things? Not me on my own. But I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Pray as Jesus taught us
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Amen.
Blessing
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
