About 2–3 minutes · 8 Scripture passages (KJV)

Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

God’s Word

The mighty God

Today’s takeaway: Jesus is the mighty God and your salvation, so trust Him and do not be afraid.

Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. And in thy majesty ride prosperously

Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

Thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty

The man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever.

Before you pray

What victory has Christ given you that you can thank Him for?

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You are the mighty God. Your throne is forever, and the scepter of Your kingdom is righteous. You are God my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ. You are able to keep me from falling and present me faultless before Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Pray as Jesus taught us

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Amen.

Blessing

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
